Amazing food, friendly staff and cozy little place. The portions are huge. We left full AND with take out.

needs a major renovation. very dirty of a place. carpet and cushion chairs are gross looking. was not impressed

We weren't overly impressed with the service. I will say their fries are great though! It's a busy little place and the patrons are all very friendly! Their breakfast menu was a bit confusing a normal breakfast was in the 6 dollar range for 2 eggs 2 pieces of meat (one sausage if you go that route) and tatties. But if you get the grumpy breaky it is in the 8 dollar range and was 2 eggs and still only 2 prices of bacon or ham the only way you get an extra 2 dollars worth is if you choose sausage you get 1 extra sausage so 2 farmers sausages total. But if you pick bacon or ham it's the exact same breakfast as the regular 6 dollar breakfast??? I'm thinking it must be a typo would you not expect an extra piece of bacon or ham? And even still if that's all you get extra is it worth 2 dollars? I dunno in any case we didn't feel very welcome by staff and even though 3 people were at our table at one point we still didn't get our waters or coffee after being asked all 3 times.

Fantastic "home made" jams. Only downside was their exhaust fans weren't working great so it was a bit hazy in there.Great place and experience.

Nothing grumpy about Grumpy's. An excellent breakfast place with a small town charm! Get the farmer's sausage and you won't be dissapointed.

The place was incredibly dirty, which wouldn't be so bad if the food was edible. We didn't eat any of our breakfast, and left. We did pay for it as we did order. The grease coming off the bacon and eggs/omelettes was black/old. It truly was the worst breakfast place we have been to.

My first (of likely many) visits to Grumpy’s was fortunately filled with bacon. I just had the classic breakfast but the bacon amount was amazing. Great portion size too. Plate was a little cold so my eggs got cold quick and potatoes a little tasteless. Homemade raspberry jam to die for.

Fantastically good breakfast and amazing service. The staff was super friendly and nice, and we got our food less than 20 minutes after our arrival. It’s kinda rare in my experience to see people genuinely happy in the food service industry and these folks were just lovely! Thanks for an incredible experience and a great meal!

Good food, staff is quite and don't bring the bill to the table or tell you to pay up front so it caused confusion, menus are falling apart. But I still love going, a place to be quite and calm for breakfast and just enjoy soaking up the sun. (It's on a corner so lots of windows)

Just ate today at the well suited name restaurant GRUMPY’s. The staff definitely made me feel like I wasn’t wanted there. I was having lunch with a good friend I haven’t seen in a while and wanted to catch up. What we didn’t realize until we got the menu and ordered (and apologized for this) was that they were closing in 15min. At no point did they let us know this when we walked in or say that the kitchen was shut down. Had they let us know I would have been happy to go elsewhere and let them go home. Instead they gave us two seconds to look at the menu and rudely made not so subtle hints throughout the time we were there. While I’m still eating, the one lady asked from from over the counter if I wanted my fries in a to go box and even turning out the lights. I get it, it was near the end of the shift, but we arrived during open hours. We were paying customers and deserve the same service as everyone else.

Ate here for years before ownership change. Another disappointment as this town continues to loose quality eateries. Why do people buy successful restaurants and cut out quality and quantity .

Excellent food and excellent pleasant stuff

I had a chicken caesar wrap it was delicious, the fries were either overcooked or were cooked in old oil. The restaurant doesn't seem to be dirty but definitely needs a refresh on the walls, floors and ceiling.

Burgers come with a gross relish even if you say no or ask for no toppings. Seafood items fish and shrimp are poor and taste like old oil used for both.
